The staff was consistently helpful and attentive.
The noise from neighboring rooms was unbearable. Thin walls allowed every word from next door to disturb my sleep. I also found the villa quite humid, and the climate control struggled to keep it comfortable, which was disappointing.

the walls are so thin it felt more like a slumber party than a hotel stay, actually. and the musty bathroom smell? charmingly grotesque. i almost left a shining review until i noticed they never offered any sort of compensation for my troubles—how hard can it be to show some hospitality?

The location was perfectly situated for immersing in the
local culture. Right next to the Sunday market, it offered great dining options and easy access to temples. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially when I struggled with the air conditioning. The only downside was the room's lack of natural light, which made it feel a bit claustrophobic.
